As we approach the seventh anniversary of British Engineering Services, we’re delighted to share that we will soon be welcoming a new Group CEO to the team.  John Campbell will join us on 1st September and will work with our Executive Team to help drive the ongoing success of our growing company.

John comes to us from Modulaire Group where he has spent three and a half years as UK Group Managing Director.  Prior to this, he was with G4S in Managing Director roles for both the UK and Ireland for almost five years.  He is extremely experienced when it comes to leading businesses and puts the success of the companies he has helped develop over recent years, down to fantastic teams.

Having been heavily involved in driving strategic business growth during his career, he is particularly excited by our active acquisition strategy.  Adding new companies to our Group brings an enhanced range of the very best risk management services for our customers and John is looking forward to seeing these grow even further over the coming months and years.

“It’s been fantastic to watch the British Engineering Services Group journey over the last few months.  Providing the best possible experience for our customers is important to us all, particularly as we acquire more companies and expand and strengthen our suite of services.  I’m really looking forward to spending time with the team as we continue to focus on this, leveraging the many skills and combined experience of our people to do even more great things,” commented John.

Stewart Kay has led the British Engineering Services Group since it became an independent business in 2015. The company has enjoyed remarkable success in this time, welcoming eight brilliant new businesses, growing our team to over 1,000 of the very best people, opening the industry leading Paul Forrester Training Centre and helping make sure our many customers leave nothing to chance.

“The last seven years have been phenomenal for our business.  We’ve revolutionised the risk industry in the best possible way, and I’ve been delighted to be a part of it.  John is a fantastic addition to the team and will drive the business forward while continuing to focus on our people and our customers as Group CEO,” said Stewart.

We’re pleased to share that Stewart will continue to be involved with our business, putting his experience and extensive knowledge of the British Engineering Services Group to great use as a Non-Executive Director.
